In 1998, the Vice Provincial Sr. Lucy Kallarackal and her Council decided to open a community in Wardhannapet, Telengana which was a landmark in the life of the Indian Baptistines. Three sisters under the leadership of Sr. Anitha Puravakattu started serving the people with much vigor. The main thrust was education, a felt need of the locality. The school runs Pre-K.G through X Std.
In the field of development Baptistines ventured to tackle the socio- economic problems of women. They animated women through formation of women groups, capacity building and awareness building through Lodi Multipurpose Social Service Society and Bala Vikasa. Sisters take care of Parish Ministry especially caring for the spiritual needs in the substations of the Parish.
