Rise, Take up and Walk in Synodality
The Fourth Provincial Chapter of the Indian Province was held at CSJB Provincialalate, Bangalore from 28 December to 2 January 2023. The theme was: Rise, Take up and Walk in Synodality. There were 36 members including 2 juniors. The presence of Sr. Lina Pantano, Superior General along with Sr. Teresina Kunnath, Vicar General added more grace to this occasion. On the first day of the Chapter, Sr. Inigo SSA led the recollection for the participants.
We the delegates harmonized our heart, mind and soul to celebrate the Chapter that invited us to renew and revitalize our personal& fraternal life and our commitment in our ministries. The study, dialogue, interaction, reflection and sharing of the theme facilitated the expansion of hearts to deeper contemplation and dedication to the mission. Daily animated Liturgy of the Hours, Holy Eucharist, adoration and prayer to our Founder were fitting moments of thanksgiving and grace. We felt the illuminating power of the Spirit within us, which caused us to feel challenged by the needs of the world around us.
We cherish the moments of joy being together. New is the year, new are the hopes, new are the resolutions, and new are the spirit. We trust and entrust to the Lord all our hopes, and convictions that have surfaced during the Chapter. The new Provincial team is elected: Sr. Motchapackiam Manickam- Provincial Superior, Sr. Mary Antony – I Councilor & Vicar, Sr. Brigit Mailaparampil – II Councilor, Sr. Elsy Perepadan – III Councilor and Sr. Lourdu Jasintha – IV Councilor. May the grace of God continue to guide and lead the Province and assist us to be faithful and committed to all the decisions and deliberations of this Chapter!
