Mob: 8618561269 Amalalaya Convent was graciously blessed on 27 June 2024, by His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bangalore and it was formally inaugurated by Rev. Sr. Motchapackiam Manickam, the Provincial Superior, in the presence of many Baptistine sisters, priests, religious and parishioners. This latest community of the running year was initiated for pastoral, medical, social and educational apostolates in Amalagondi Parish and in the surrounding villages. They discharge their challenging pastoral ministry at the Parish, attending everyday Mass, conducting Rosary, giving Sunday Catechism for the children and visiting the Catholic families to deepen their faith. Sisters are currently providing evening tuitions for the pupils from the nearby villages studying from KG to Class X. They have also started St. Antony’s Play School for the kids.
